Project Implementation and Operating Results
As a supplier of cathode materials for new energy batteries, this enterprise imposes dual strict requirements on the stability and cleanliness of compressed air in the powder conveying and kiln sintering processes. The working pressure of the compressed air pipeline network is 0.8 MPa, used for pneumatic control and supporting air supply; the process atmosphere should be controlled by an independent gas system according to material requirements, while avoiding cross-contamination of the materials by conventional air compressor lubricating oil.
Technical adaptation
BOSAN customizes the BDS-50 series permanent-magnet variable-speed screw air compressor combination solution for it.
The BDS-50 meets the high flow demand of the main kiln, using two-stage compression technology to increase energy efficiency to the first-level standard;
BDS-50 is specifically designed for powder conveying systems, and its IP55 protection level effectively resists metal dust in the production site.
The two compressors operate under coordinated central control, adjusting compressed-air delivery to actual demand.
Value realization
The new system has improved air source stability; the compressed air equipment itself cannot replace the customer's quality management system certification. The application of frequency conversion technology reduces the overall energy consumption of the air compression station by approximately 22%, and the equipment's unique low-frequency noise reduction design further keeps the workshop noise below 70 decibels. Its modular structural design reserves technical interface ports for the future expansion of the fifth-generation sintering production line.
