Project Implementation and Operating Results
As a major malt supplier in the Northwest region, the company's raw material sorting production line requires stable compressed air to drive the gravity separator, while also requiring the compressed air to maintain low humidity to prevent the malt from getting damp. The existing equipment has the problem of insufficient grading accuracy due to unstable air pressure.
BOSAN BDS-50 screw air compressors are equipped with a cyclone air-water separation device, combined with drying equipment to control the dew point of compressed air. The 0.85 MPa discharge pressure, optimized specifically for sorting equipment, significantly improves grain grading efficiency. The fully enclosed chassis, along with an intake filter suitable for dusty environments, effectively protects the equipment from the corrosive effects of the dusty conditions in the northwest region.
After the new equipment is put into use, the purity of malt grading has significantly improved, and constant pressure air supply has reduced the failure rate of the sorting equipment. The variable-speed control system automatically adjusts the speed according to the load of the sorting line, and energy consumption has significantly decreased compared to before the renovation. The built-in IoT module of the equipment monitors the operating status in real time and provides early warnings for filter replacement to ensure production continuity. Special anti-rust treatment allows the equipment to maintain stable performance in alternating dry and high-humidity environments.
